With his recent signing by online poker room UltimateBet, Joe Sebok has locked down his position in the world of poker. He began playing poker in March 2004 and has already accrued over $1.8 million in winnings.  Sebok is the co-founder of the popular site PokerRoad.com, a company he founded with his stepfather Barry Greenstein.  PokerRoad supplies content and reporting to radio, TV, and print outlets.
In September of 2009, Sebok joined UltimateBet’s Team UB in a move that shocked many in the industry.  He has also become a cardroom consultant for the brand, offering input on the game experience on the site.  When the announcement was made, Paul Leggett, chief operating officer of parent company Tokwiro Enterprises stated  “We are ecstatic to bring Joe onto Team UB. In an interview with Poker News, Sebok went into more detail about his decision to work with the poker site: “It quickly became apparent that both Paul Leggett and I were on the same page with wanting to not only to do things completely differently, but also to atone for the way things had been handled in the past.”  Sebok traveled to UltimateBet’s base of operations, worked closely with the staff, and took a good, hard look at the poker room’s security before agreeing to become a member of its team.  Since joining, Joe has become an enthusiastic brand ambassador, believing it to be the safest and most honest poker room out there.
